A Forest of Memories

A piece born from my return to the woods after Hurricane Helene devastated Western North Carolina. When I went back, everything felt quieter. The forest was changed. Still.

But even in that quiet, I felt something spark awake in me.

I created this painting to bring the wonder back. To breathe life into that stillness and reconnect with the joy I’ve always found in nature.
